The Roger Curtis-trained Quam Celerrime is bound to be popular with backers following his win here over two miles when 4lb out of the handicap 10 days ago racing off just a 3lb higher mark today but he is far from certain to stay the longer trip and preference is for SIMONE MARTINI, who can bounce back to winning ways. The selection has a penalty to carry for his win over course and distance earlier this month and has been beaten since then off this mark but he was far from disgraced on that occasion at Exeter and looks worth siding with to resume winning ways. Dai Burchell's Babilu is fit from the flat but needs to improve on recent hurdles form, while Jonjo O'Neill's Salpierre seems too high in the weights first time in a handicap. Wisteria Lane is capable but inconsistent so looks best left out of calculations.
