Verdict

Super Villan is an interesting contender on his hurdling debut having finished 15th of 24 in the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival but he is far from certain to stay this far so looks best watched. Alan King's Like A Hurricane holds Leitra House on their running at Fontwell in June and has to be respected under his penalty but a better bet looks to be another runner with a penalty in ACKERTAC, who was eased down but still won by 10 lengths over course and distance last month and represents the in-form stable of Nigel Twiston-Davies. Carrickmines has shown improved form over fences of late but is not as good over hurdles, while dual Irish point-to-point winner Glens Boy looks best left out of calculations first time out for Henrietta Knight.
