In depth

Verdict

Lady Reset is a likeable mare who wins her fair share but she is probably a few pounds too high at present. The handicapper is also reluctant to show mercy to Pillar Of Steel but she clearly didn’t get home over 2m4f last time and is one of only two previous course winners in this. The other is Durragh, who has Brian Hughes on board, but the four-year-olds Addosh and Galah look bigger dangers. PROGRESSIVE won off a higher mark in better company at Chepstow last autumn. She is having a first outing since April but fitness shouldn’t be an issue and Fortunes Melody has been frustrating to follow.
