KAUTO THE KING has been a fine horse to get Joe Tizzard’s training career off with a bang and he still looks a big player here despite sitting some 14lb higher in the handicap than when he commenced his winning run. Seddon ran well in a valuable event at Cartmel earlier in the season so the subsequent follow-up bid has to be viewed as a disappointment. A change of stables has brought about a change of luck for Texard and David Pipe’s seven-year-old proved a game winner when tried at the track last month.
