Lady Yang, Starlet Mandy and Valleyofthedolls are the three to look at here, with Starlet Mandy given a tentative vote in a race where the market may be the best guide. A sister to Theatre Girl and half sister to Ring The Boss, Valleyofthedolls has the breeding to make a winning debut for Alan King. The trainer had a winner in a similar event here last weekend, and jockey bookings would suggest that this is the preferred stable runner. Lady Yang, having been well beaten first time out, stepped up markedly on that effort, belying a big starting price when fourth at Ludlow last time. Further improvement can see her play a part here. A daughter of Presenting, Starlet Mandy was not unfancied when finishing fourth on her debut, leading until the furlong pole before being run out of it. She may well be held onto a bit longer here, and Starlet Mandy may prove good enough.
