Verdict

MINELLA ENCORE, already a winner between the flags and in bumpers, was placed three times in maiden company in Ireland last season when trained by Willie Mullins. He’s joined Richard Newland and is the clear form pick in this, though isn’t guaranteed to have things all his own way. Velasco was a wide-margin winner in a point in February and has been acquired by Tom Lacey while Copper Coin was keeping better company last autumn and has claims on his fourth at Aintree. Last Royal won his bumper here in July while Busy Street has won four times on the Flat.
