EMERALD GLADE barely turned a hair when winning over course and distance nine days ago after beating a subsequent scorer at Worcester. She looks more than capable of defying a big weight rise while in this kind of mood. Wom didn't run badly at the weights in an above-average seller at Market Rasen last time but might struggle here while My Lord was still beaten 14 lengths when second to Mighty Clarets at Worcester. Next Edition won on the Flat at Musselburgh in May but Spinning Waters continues to disappoint over hurdles and none of the others, including Towcester third Red Whisper, make much appeal on recent form.
