Lord of The Loch and Champetre look the two to concentrate on here and the narrow preference is for the last mentioned. The selection ran well when fourth behind Ilabon at Chepstow last month, and as he is dropped in class slightly here he looks to have a decent opportunity to get his head in front. Lord Of The Loch should give him the most to do as he finished fourth behind Comfortable Call in a better race than this at Sedgefield last time. That was on good ground, and these conditions are far more suitable for this gelding who will not be far away at the finish. Three Lions has been in fair form of late and has the services of Richard Johnson so is another worth considering, but for the winner we return to Champetre.
