Verdict

Though tackling fences for the first time, Bubble Dubi and General Medrano are both hurdles winners and entitled to respect. Rose Sea Has has won four times in chases, including at Fontwell on Boxing Day last year, with ONLY MONEY (NAP) having a similar strike-rate. The latter didn’t get far when well backed on his reappearance but is now 6lb lower than when placed in better races than this at Aintree and Newbury last autumn. Master Crusader has disappointed over the larger obstacles but Master Dancer won a chase at Nimes in 2021.
