Verdict

ANNIE NAIL has found life tougher off higher marks since winning a small Fontwell chase in good style nearly a year ago. She went well for a long way back at the Sussex track after a near-300 day absence and is now down to what looks a more feasible mark. Trip and ground are fine and she gets on well with Philip Armson. Stamina Chope has the ability to land another small handicap and is a live danger after not being beaten at all far at Huntingdon last month despite the racecourse vet reporting he'd bled from the nose. Presenting Belle has failed to finish on three of six starts and was well beaten last time, whilst both Cotton End and Talkingthetalk were pulled up when last seen, so are hard to be confident about.
