Verdict

CALL ME LORD’s declaration means that all of his rivals, including stablemate Fantastic Lady, are racing from out of the handicap to some degree. A dual Grade 2 winner over hurdles, Daryl Jacob’s mount is potentially thrown in on his belated chasing bow. Come On Teddy may need further but was third in last season’s Pertemps Final at Cheltenham. Master Debonair and Sail Away both have chasing experience and Ballybegg is almost certainly better than he showed at Carlisle. Gustavian, a winner over the smaller obstacles here in February, and Fern Hill are other interesting recruits.
