The seller can go to York Rite, with a number of the others looking set to fight out the places. The selection is lightly raced but has won two of his last three races, the latest coming six days ago when stepped up to three miles and wearing cheekpieces for the first time. Even though he drops back half-a-mile today, he can win for trainer Richard Guest. Martin Pipe's Better Moment comes here on the back of of a win in a Southwell seller, but has never won over as far as today's trip. San Marco won on the all-weather at Lingfield in January and has to be considered. The beautifully-bred Hypothesis cost 130,000gns as a yearling but comes here on the back of some point-to-point runs. Beasley was staying on at Sedgefield in a seller last time and might improve for the step up in trip, while Astronaut also has the odd bit of form. Overall, though, we'll stick with York Rite.
