Verdict

Dual bumper winner Ernest Gray was a little disappointing on his hurdling debut at Warwick but is probably capable of better. Inch House was snapped up by Jonjo O’Neill after winning a maiden point at Dromahane in December last year and Hitching Jacking found only one too good at Wetherby on his debut under Rules. SALADAM ran green over course and distance last month but still wasn’t beaten far. He’ll know more today, though Hereford second King Alexander is also a likely improver over this trip and rates a danger.
