Arguably plenty of 'dead wood' here and those towards the head of the weights appeal most. Goldencard returned to form when making all at Fontwell and must be respected off this 7lb higher mark. He's not ground-dependent and is definitely shortlisted. I'M ON SNAP has displayed considerable improvement though in three starts since joining Tom Lacey and was only just denied over course and distance last month. He could prove good enough if his talented handler can unlock further progression. Pardon Me has a shout at his best along with Tidal Watch, whilst Rebel Leader, a disappointing favourite here latest, is surely better than that and worth tracking in the betting.
