In depth

Verdict

Katy P and Just Milly are closely matched on their 1-2 in a novice event at Huntingdon last month but the former probably has the greater scope for improvement. Sheneededtherun and Postbridge are other recent winners who warrants respect in a competitive mares’ handicap but the going may be too fast for last month’s course and distance winner Fresh By Nature. Pulling Power wasn’t beaten far at Ludlow last time but she’s been found wanting over this trip in the past. TOBERDOWNEY couldn’t sustain her run at Haydock last time and has even further to travel today. But she was second to Grade 2 winner Colin’s Sister over 2m5f at Ludlow at the end of last year and has every chance on that form if she stays.
