Hard to be too enthusiastic about too many of these but Three Ships holds solid claims and Santera's win last time out advertises his chances. Former jockey Steve Wynne has had several run well at big prices on the Flat of late and whilst Three Ships is unlikely to be much of a price, he should run well. This is his grade, he's the clear pick on the book and will handle the conditions. Santera is open to improvement though after just a handful of starts and did win readily at Worcester. She has the beating of Dandygrey Russett on that form and could give the selection a race. The remainder look up against it although Christian Williams has a decent strike rate aboard the Thorpe hurdlers so Wolfman is worth a second look but Three Ships sets the standard and gets the vote.
