In depth

Verdict

A competitive field goes to post for this handicap chase but the principals look to be Tudor King, Something Dandy and Jokers Charm and we will take a chance on the last named. The gelding from the Richard Guest yard was disappointing last time out but prior to that he had won well at Sedgefield and with conditions in his favour he is taken to get back on the winning thread in this poor race. Tudor King rates the main danger on his latest second behind Just Ruben but he never runs two races the same and for that reason he is passed over here. Something Dandy could also go well he finished in mid division in a class C handicap hurdle last time and this looks much easier he will be hard to beat with conditions in his favour. Of the remainder Passing Wind ran well after a long absence when third but you would have to be worried about the bounce factor so we are happy to side with his stable companion Jokers Charm.
