Plenty of point-to-point form to get a grips with here and the market will help guide to the chances of the various 'pointers', however Mr Joe Platinum could be hard to beat if building on his debut second and he gets the nod to go one better today. The powerful combination of Jonjo and 'AP' on Mem O' Rees make it to the shortlist along with Mysaynoway. The selection was unfancied on debut over this course and distance but ran a cracker to finish only four lengths off the winner. He handled the softish conditions well on that occasion and with nominal improvement, connections may find themselves in the winners enclosure. Although his dam is a sprinter, he seemed to get the trip fully so stamina shouldn't be a problem in this soft ground. Mysaynoway and Ashby Jo represent Kahlil Burke and both deserve a close inspection, although on the evidence shown so far it is Mysaynoway who looks the likeliest of the pair. Winning pointer What A Biscuit looks the pick of the pointers to the untrained eye, whilst Mem O 'Rees has been given a break and should be watched for market support. A tough finale for punters, but Mr Joe Platinum ticks all the right boxes.
