Best to have a look at those with a bit of form on the board and into that category come Gollinger, Lanos, Countback and Sean Og and we take Gollinger to score. The selection won a similar contest over 21 furlongs here in May and either side of that was runner up also in selling company. The drop back to two miles is the imponderable here as he has largely been kept to two-and-a-half, but any easing in the ground should help make it more of a stamina test and so he gets the nod. Lanos went well when just touched off in a Worcester seller last time when he looked much more at home in this class. He can't be ruled out on that basis so watch for any market confidence there. Countback tackles his optimum trip and enjoys a bit of cut so if the rains arrive he should be involved, while Sean Og is not bad even as far as this contest is concerned and is another who wants some juice to slow the rest of them down, but we can't see him winning and preference is for Gollinger to take this awful contest.
