Verdict

The penultimate race on the Uttoxeter card is a small field chase handicap and can go to GLIMMER OF LIGHT ahead of Folie A Deux and Coach Lane. This is a tight little contest but Glimmer Of Light looks to be a horse on the improve as the rest seem to be on the down grade. The Dr. Newland horse won very nicely on his latest start beating a good yard stick in Space Cowboy. The selection is also a course and distance winner and his trainer does well at this particular track. With a good three lbs claimer book he is sure to go well. Folie A deux also won its last start and has now joined a shrewd stable so has to be monitored. Coach Lane has plenty of ability but his resolve in a finish has been questioned on more than one occasion. Erdeli is an interesting recruit to the chasing game as his hurdles form was quite good. If money came for him on his chasing debut he would interesting. Aruman has tumbled down the handicap so keep a watchful eye on him and My Condor represents a top trainer/jockey combination so has to be respected but Glimmer Of Light just gets the nod.
