LINDENHURST has progressed into a smart hurdler and with two Flat victories to his credit deserves the verdict. He should have finished closer at Wexford last time and is probably better than a 75-rated performer nowadays. Mireya is a staying type whose lone success on the level came over 1m6f while Rodriguez won a chase over 2m6f at Ballinrobe last month and is likely to get outpaced. Waydownsouth is very consistent and will love the ground conditions but It was very fast ground when Days Ahead scored on the Flat at Gowran in September and Kims Dream completed a hat-trick on quick going last summer. Little Arrows appears to do better at Dundalk these days so the main threat looks to be Indian Icon, another who has been going well over timber and comes here with a recent victory in a maiden hurdle at Killarney behind him.
