Verdict
COMMANDER PATTEN made a promising start when second to Realtra on the Rowley course here. The third has since won and Alan Bailey's colt should have no trouble confirming superiority with the well beaten Framley Garth. Of the newcomers, it's worth keeping an eye on Epithet, a half-brother to a winner, and the Sea The Stars colt Silent Thunder may also get involved. Peacock is bred to need further but Dark Profit makes more appeal as he cost 310,000 euros and is a half-brother to Group 1 winner Zafisio.
