        Verdict

        Sohar's only win to date came over 2m and Eagle Rock also needs further nowadays. Poyle Thomas would prefer faster ground and Lion Beacon has struggled off today's mark since landing a double last year. Both Red Runaway and Toptempo look to be back in the handicapper's grip but there should be more to come from Perfect Summer now she's finally got her head in front with a victory at Doncaster. GIFTED LEADER hasn't raced on the Flat since 2011 but won over 1m6f at Sandown that year. Racing off the same mark today with a recent second over hurdles to his credit, Tom Tate's charge may well be good enough in this.
