RATTAN missed a good opportunity when yesterday's meeting was abandoned but should gain compensation here. He wasn't quite at his best in the Galway Hurdle last time but earlier effort on the Flat and when beaten just a head by Satu in a Grade B hurdle at Killarney point to his obvious chance here. Echo Bob is a decent hurdler at his best though he's higher-rated over fences after finishing third in the Red Rum Handicap at Aintree in April. King High also appears better over fences and enters the fray in poor shape while Norther Bay hasn't run over timber since 2010.
