Verdict

DEFINITE RUBY was having his first start over fences and his first run since May when third to Ted Veale over a trip too short at the Galway Festival. He'll have come on a bundle for that experience and will be difficult to beat. Mrs Mac Veale has had very little experience over fences but has competed at a high level over timber and there's no reason why she shouldn't do well over the bigger obstacles. Dominetta Vitali has yet to win a race but has a couple of decent efforts to his credit and could get into the frame while Baidin Fheilimi followed a second over fences at Downpatrick by landing a Cork handicap hurdle.
