      Verdict

      Almadaa has won over the track and trip but appears better over an extra furlong these days. Sylvan Mist is 7lb higher than her victory here in January and hasn't been seen since the following month but Above The Law has been going well and has won three times from eight starts on the track. Chiclet and PRINCE CONNOISSEUR have met twice and the score is one apiece. The latter is lightly raced and ran in a Listed contest last time so is given the nod in a tricky little opener.
