The veteran Preswell Lad last ran over fences when successful over this track and trip in April but he's scored over timber subsequently. HALLS BRIDGE, who hadn't shown much over regulation fences, gained a surprise success on his handicap debut at Wexford where he was always travelling well and stayed on strongly. He's been raised 9lb but has further progress in him and can complete the double. This is the favourite track of Coolharbour Breeze and though she's been badly out of sorts it wouldn't be a shock to see her go well. Mallards In Flight didn't show much in two runs over fences in October but has done much better back over hurdles so deserves another crack at the bigger obstacles. Vicalus has only run once here and produced her best run to date over fences when runner-up to Kilmurry Kid but Shantalla's jumping has let him down since completing a double last September.
