Indian Fairy may have been chasing a double but for falling at the last in the race won by Black Zero at Gowran. She had earlier finished a long way behind The Bold Beckey over this track and trip and the latter showed herself in excellent shape by scoring at Clonmel from today's rival PERRIE HILL. The latter, though, is 16lb better off for just under five lengths and must have an outstanding opportunity to gain his first victory. Budtairis found the minimum trip much too short on his return after a very long absence at Fairyhouse but may need another run to put him straight. Drive On Locky gained his only success in 21 starts over this course and distance in April and is just 2lb higher so must be on the short-list. Halling's Treasure started off well over timber but hasn't progressed as expected and has yet to prove he stays this far.
