Verdict

Bellatior made a winning bumper debut at Naas but couldn't handle the step up to Grade 2 company at Leopardstown. Champagnesocialist had shown plenty of potential in bumpers before scoring by 19 lengths at Downpatrick while winning point-to-pointer and bumper Kilbunny Pontic was only headed on the run-in over this trip at Fairyhouse after going clear three out. Dina Leen started long odds-on for her bumper debut at Wexford but couldn't get close enough to mount a challenge and weakened from a furlong out. She'll be expected to do much better but this can go to MANGAN SUE. She would have completed a hat-trick between the flags but for a last-fence fall and benefited from a strong gallop when runner-up over 3m at Wexford.
