CAPTAIN SULLY came very close to losing his maiden tag at Roscommon last time where a last-flight mistake may have cost him the race as he was only beaten half-a-length by Georgie. He can make amends here though John The Soldier's supporters will be looking for compensation as the five-year-old has been a beaten favourite on his two latest starts at Clonmel and Limerick. The faster ground here may aid his cause and he looks a major threat but Fleeting Moment, who has form good enough to win this, is still a maiden after 33 career starts which is hardly encouraging. If there's to be a surprise it may be Haventabobphil who supplies it as Colm Murphy's mare has run well enough at Down Royal and Sligo this summer to suggest she is on the upgrade.
