A moderate handicap in which OLD THEATRE ROYAL is taken to gain his first success. Still in front when falling three out over 2m2f at Cork last time, he had earlier shown improvement when third to the well-in De Senecute over 2m on the same track and this won't take much winning. Annees D'Or easily landed a handicap on fast ground over the C&D in June but ran poorly from a 10lbs higher mark at Wexford a month later while Slaney Time, despite a decent run behind Cooper's Crest at Limerick, is still a maiden after 25 career starts. Cybersnow is a very useful staying handicapper on the flat and could hardly have won with more authority over timber at Downpatrick on Sunday. That was over 2m7f so it's a surprise to see him over today's trip but he's very well handicapped with a penalty and looks certain to go well.
