Verdict

Fiddlers Bow showed little when sent chasing last season but has improved over hurdles and reverts to the bigger obstacles on a 9lb lower mark and should go well despite a big weight. DARK OUTSIDER has been raised 8lb for a comfortable victory at Clonmel last week so coming here with a 4lb penalty looks a good option. He hasn't had much luck on this track in the past but will be very difficult to beat if in the same mood. Paudi The Punter ran very well when a close fourth over the track and trip in August and again when runner-up at Downpatrick last month so he should be prominent. He was behind One Fine Morning in that run on this track and though Ronnie O'Leary's charge isn't the most consistent he has the ability to get competitive from this sort of mark.
