Never Bold's only success came when beating today's rival Orange Touch over this C&D on very fast ground in August. He's been well beaten since over further and the runner-up could reverse the form on this easier going as could fourth-placed Cadeaux Fax, who has been in better form subsequently on much softer ground. Custodian did better when sent over 2m4f at Clonmel but View From The Top is running very well and should be losing his maiden tag soon from this sort of mark. A chance is taken with MATURUS ARDOR, who has had problems with his jumping but was still there with every chance when falling two out in the race won by subsequent dual winner Uncle Taffy at Cork in May. Beliar, a C&D winner, loves it around here and has won twice on the Flat this summer but prefers faster ground.
