Verdict

Amazon Warrior likes fast ground though is high enough in the weights but dual bumper winner Tear Drops ran well over this trip at Cork before failing to stay further at Sligo. Watermelon has always liked quick ground as she showed with a very good effort at Clonmel last week while the lightly-raced Broadhaven Bay produced a couple of decent efforts on fast going last summer though she is held by ANNEES D'OR on their run in this event a year ago. Seamus Murphy's mare had nine lengths to spare over the runner-up and looked on the way back to form at Sligo a month ago. She has since had a run on the Flat at Wexford and should be fighting-fit in her bid to complete a long-range double.
