    In depth

    Verdict

Telwaar was seemingly unfancied when making his debut behind the highly-touted St Barths at Leicester but showed enough to suggest he could be competitive in maiden company with time and experience. He is one to keep an eye on but TORTONI is the more forward of the pair and is given the chance to atone for an odds-on failure at Chester last time. The Teofilo colt never looked at ease on that unique circuit and can go one better on this more conventional track. Campanology cost 90,000gns and hails from the Hannon juvenile academy. The booking of Johnny Murtagh suggests connections mean business and he merits the utmost respect on this racecourse bow.
