QUARRYVALE was having only his sixth start over fences when making all for a very easy success over three miles at Thurles and though the handicapper had his say with a 10lb rise his young rider's claim can help him follow up. Burnt Oil Babe almost defied a 7lb rise for a comfortable victory at Downpatrick when just touched off by Borolee at Punchestown. Another 5lb extra won't aid her cause but she's still on the upgrade. Four of these, Isourbell, Toby Ben, Heroes Square and Pagan Magic, were all engaged in the 3.05 here yesterday. The former did easily the best in second place with the other trio well beaten off and if turning out again could get involved.
