RIVAGE D'OR, Escudero and Jack Bene are the trio to follow and it will be a surprise of one of them doesn't land this. The former is saddled with a penalty for a bumper victory on his racecourse debut in France over two years ago. He's been at short odds on his last five starts and been narrowly beaten in four of them but this should be his turn to finally get off the mark over timber. Escudero made a promising return to action at Clonmel in October but didn't quite make the expected progress at Gowran the following month so it could be Jack Bene, who would probably be suited by further but will have the ground in his favour, who chases home the selection.
