The ex-Irish Bob's Gone looks to have been given a fine chance of following up his Stratford win off only a 5lbs higher mark, and as that was only his 2nd run since coming over from Ireland there is every reason to believe there is more to come from him, but the lightly weighted The River Joker ran really well on his return to action over course and distance earlier this month and gets the vote. That was his first outing since February and he is sure to strip sharper this time. Clonroche Vinyls ran well enough here earlier this month when chasing home Max Pride, but she remains a maiden over timber after 12 outings. Blasket Sound is beginning to look well handicapped, but normally takes a race or two to come to hand, while Montagnette, the winner of a seller here, may find this too competitive. If Masters Of War has any ability at all he must go well off his current mark (86), but The River Joker looks the safest option in a moderate contest.
