HIPPODROME is taken to land the finale at the expense of Cove Mountain and Ramvaswani. The selection was rated as high as 108 at his beat and was back to form when winning over course and distance last month. He is six pounds higher in the weights as a result but if he can recapture his recent winning form he will prove difficult to beat. Cove Mountain has course and distance winning form to his name and could be potentially well treated if back to his best. He ran well to finish fourth of thirteen at this venue last time out so any market moves should be noted. Ramvaswani caught the eye when second to Bob 'n' You at Huntington last time out and although he is still a maiden after thirty four runs he warrants respect. This looks a competitive finale in which preference is for Hippodrome
