In depth

Verdict

Santa's Secret was a bit too keen on his hurdling debut at Plumpton. He'll need to settle better to get home here and preference is for GO WEST YOUNG MAN. Henry Daly's gelding also pulled hard at Kempton last time but still ran well considering he looked in need of the run. Dropping back to 2m can see him finally get his head in front. Ozzy Thomas' second to Tea For Two here on Boxing Day puts him right in the picture and Rock Des Champs caught the eye at Leicester and looks a nice long-term prospect, though did finish behind War And Contrition that day.
