Verdict

Another open handicap, with FURZE HILL our narrow selection, ahead of Happily Ever After and Great Tsar. Furze Hill has plenty in hand with most at the weights and may be the one to make the running. He can be a bit of a monkey though. A lay-off since April will certainly see him fresh. Happily Ever After has been hurdling for most of his career, and looked to be making a pleasing chase debut before falling late on last time out. Top weight Great Tsar has had a run recently, and showed up much better here over hurdles than when previously seen in April. He should have come on for that, and a switch to chasing could see him break his maiden. Our preference though is for Furze Hill.
