In depth

Verdict

MR GEE JAY has only run three times over fences and five times in total. He appeared to have plenty in the locker when scoring over this trip at Ffos Las earlier this month and, though raised a harsh-looking 14lb since, is probably worth following in this grade. Timpo doesn't stand much racing but has won off a higher mark here in the past and was runner-up at Chepstow last month. He makes more appeal than Fontwell scorer and runner-up, Top Benefit and Might As Well, and ex-pointers The Vicar and Ide No Idea. Monty's Revenge and Quayside Court won here last season but look high enough in the weights at present while My Mate Vinnie lacks a recent run.
