MAN OF THE MOMENT won this contest last season and looks to have been laid out for a repeat so is taken to land this three mile Handicap Chase at the expense of the form horse Gunship while Stockton Flyer can build on a decent run on his last effort. Jockey Joshua Moore is proving good value for his seven pound claim and he takes valuable weight off the selection who has raced just twice since landing this contest 12 month ago. He didn't last home over a mammoth test last time but back at this stamina test Jim Best's runner should be in prime position to go well. Gunship has recorded a brace of wins over this trip recently but hasn't always been the most consistent jumper as a quick glance at the form figures will show. If he complete, though, he will be very close to winning this. Course and distance winner Woodland Genpower looks value for a place at his favourite track but the signs suggest connections have targeted Man Of The Moment at this contest.
