In depth

Verdict

Rowley Hill has to shoulder top weight here, but should still be capable of beating these modest rivals, Heavenly Stride and Putup Or Shutup look to be the main rivals. Alan King's seven-year-old relished the three and a quarter mile trip at Ludlow last time, comfortably beating Graceful Dancer. That was only his second outing of the season so there should be plenty more to come. Heavenly Stride is trying this trip for the first time, but was staying on well when runner up to Westmeath Flyer at Carlisle last time, he looks the main threat to the selection. Putup Or Shutup was returning from a long holiday when finishing an excellent third behind Turaath at Ludlow last time. He is entitled to improve for that effort and should be vying for a place. Scarlet Fantasy can be given a chance on the best of last season's form and could be the pick of the others, however Rowley Hill is going the right way and will be hard to peg back
