There may not be any improvement to come from the 12-year-old Arctic Spirit and Rob Dickin's gelding has gone up 6lbs for his win over course and distance last month but this is a weak looking contest so he gets the vote to follow up with the main threats looking to be Who Dares and Thyne Supreme. The last mentioned has run respectably in his last two starts and has claims but Mark Rimell's gelding remains a maiden and that is a run that may continue here. Evan Williams has his team back among the winners so Another Gale is worthy of a mention but he is becoming expensive to follow, while winning pointer Radbrook Hall has given little cause for optimism of late. Lonesome Man has been well held in recent starts and of more interest may be Jonjo O'Neill's Who Dares. He has yet to win a race though and, in a moderate contest, the safest option looks to be Arctic Spirit.
