There is not a great deal of form for backers to go on here but at least all 16 of the runners have raced at least once and marginal preference is for Trempari, who gets the vote ahead of Costa Courta and Celts Espere. The last mentioned has shown promise in both starts so far at Uttoxeter and Carlisle and may do better now tackling a faster surface. Jayne's Crusader ran better on his return than on his first start last season and makes more interest than Billybo, who is bred to better over further when finally tried over obstacles. Carl Llewellyn's Lennox Gardens has shown promise in both starts but more solid claims are held by Costa Courta, who has run to a decent level of form in both outings to date. Trempari has shown arguably the best form in two outings on the Polytrack and is taken to make a winning start on the turf.
