Having been fairly well held by the 112-rated Overlut at Plumpton last time, Consigliere does not look to be well treated and David Pipe's gelding looks best watched with a safer option looking to be Salinas, who gets the vote ahead of Romany Dream. The last mentioned has run well in his last two starts and he should again be thereabouts but may just be a shade high in the weights now. Adecco has been given a chance by the handicapper but is hard to recommend on recent form, while Kentmere has been disappointing of late but Paul Webber now has his string in good form so he could be of interest. Preference though is for Salinas, who has shown a decent level of form of late and a reproduction of recent efforts should suffice.
