A tricky puzzle to unravel as a few of these are making their seasonal reappearance and others have been disappointing this term. Chac Du Cadran doesn't have a leg in either of those camps as he found only Honest John too good in a driving finish at Doncaster last month while Very Stylish won at Ffos Las in October before being pulled up in better company at Sandown. SHAKING HANDS weakened quickly over a marathon trip at Exeter earlier this month having pulled too hard. He's not badly treated on his best form however and, if he settles better today, his proven stamina will be an asset on the soft ground. Little Chip, second over 2m4f here last time, could figure if lasting home and bottom weight Atherstone Hill isn't without a chance if blinkers have the desired effect.
