In depth

Verdict

For the bumper the usual punting rules apply and in looking for representatives from yards who do well in this discipline we have short listed Whiteoak, Inghwung and She's A Player with the vote going to the latter. Although Ron Hodges' mare has failed to win in three attempts she has been improving. She enjoys cut in the ground and will stay every yard here and should be able to cope with the stiff uphill finish. Her last run was better than anything else on offer here and a repeat should suffice. Whiteoak will be popular after a debut second and she can clearly improve on that. However, the third that day has since been well beaten so it might be that the form is not up to much. Inghwung was not far away in soft fround at Folkestone last time and is another who should enjoy this stiff test of stamina, so can't be discounted, but with little else appealing we take She's A Player to produce the goods this time.
