Polish Pilot is dropping to a winning mark and may just be able to come good again here, ahead of Arctic Spirit and Mister Putt. The selection has come down 11lb in four runs since May and is back on 70, a mark from which he won at Market Rasen 18 months ago. He jumps well, handles most ground and this sort of trip, and we will take the plunge with him. Arctic Spirit had been in great form for Robin Dickin until flopping when well beaten last time out in hurdling company. His last four stats have been here and he clearly enjoys the testing track, but he is 10lb higher than for winning on his penultimate start and will find it tough under this burden. Of the others Mister Putt is capable despite being a chasing maiden, and will act on the ground, but he is too high in the weights for us, and we take Polish Pilot to score.
